I am calling on Dr. Perry Kendall, Dr. Richard Stanwick and all School and Chief Medical Health
Officers in the province to resign from one of the most prestigious positions a physician can hold,
protecting our children. As physicians and medical health officers you are guilty of breaking your
Hippocratic Oath, "nil nocere" - do no harm, by allowing innocent children to be exposed to a known
2b carcinogen in our schools.
I have a grandson who is 10 years old and experiences severe headaches, nausea, extreme fatigue and insomnia with prolonged exposure to microwave radiation emitting from commercial Wi-Fi transmitters and wireless devices in our schools. This boy has been dismissed from his Home School District for the last three years based on an old letter dated 2011 from Dr. Stanwick and another old letter from Dr. Kendall, dated November 17, 2010, before the World Health Organization declared microwave radiation a 2b carcinogen.
The School Board says because they are not medical experts they rely solely on the information provided by the School Medical Health Officer, Dr. Richard Stanwick and the Provincial Chief Health Officer Dr. Perry Kendall, who are not scientists or medical experts with a background in the biological effects of microwave radiation has on the human body.
Dr. Stanwick states: Upon review of the evidence, the prevailing position in this province from experts at the federal, provincial and regional levels is that the evidence reveals that “Wi-Fi exposure in schools does not pose a level of risk that is unacceptable.” The other chief medical health officers in the province, Provincial Health Officer, Ministry of Health and other federal and provincial agencies hold this position.
Again what evidence! On what evidence or recommendations do Health Officials assert Microwave Radiation emissions from wireless technologies at any level is safe for children? Who has decided what the acceptable risk is? If wireless technology is safe then why is there any risk at all?
Dr. Stanwick and the School District have refused to follow even the basic recommendations stated by Dr. Kendall in his letter in 2010.
If despite the lack of evidence of any adverse health effects related to W-Fi and the fact that Wi-Fi exposure constitutes only a small fraction of total radiofrequency exposure, school-boards still wish to consider measures for reducing children’s exposure to Wi-Fi inexpensive (although unproven) measures include:

Parents have never been informed of the health risks or given their written consent to expose their
children to microwave radiation in our schools. Safety Manuals and Disclaimers have not been
disclosed to parents, teachers and students therefore putting them at risk by not allowing them to
make an informed decision. School Boards have shifted the liability of potential lawsuits from the
permanent injuries to their School Medical Health Officer who has endorsed the installation of a known
2b carcinogen in our schools.
As parents we have been robbed of our right to protect our children from the mandatory exposure to microwave radiation in our schools. Scientists and Medical Experts around the world are warning us of the permanent health risks from accumulative and prolonged exposure from man made wireless technology.

My request for an appointment with Dr. Stanwick and Dr. Kendall to discuss updating the old and out
dated information on the health effects from microwave radiation has been denied. Dr. Stanwick
stating, “An open debate would not be beneficial.”

· Health Officers have ignored warnings in 2011, by IARC, a division of the WHO, who declared
microwave radiation a 2b carcinogen (possibly causing cancer in humans.)

· Health Canada’s opinion website has provided Industry Funded studies from 1983 - 2009 as
proof Wi-Fi is safe for children. Even these industry-funded studies do not contend that ’

· Dr. Perry Kendall has reneged on his promise to employ the precautionary principle if the BC
Centre for Disease Control (BC CDC) found after investigating the submitted studies that
prolonged exposure to low levels of microwave radio frequency radiation is a health
risk.

· In 2007 and 2012, Dr. Kendall and Dr. Stanwick were presented with over 2000 peer-
reviewed, scientific studies that showed that electromagnetic radiation is a health hazard
and again they have done nothing.
Wireless technology is unregulated and has never been tested for safety for children and the unborn. Parents want to exercise their right to decide what is an acceptable health risk is for their children. By using existing hard wire connections to the Internet children can exercise their right to an education and attend school without suffering from the short and long term health effects from the exposure to RF radiation.
Dr. Kendall and Dr. Stanwick have failed to do due diligence as Physicians and as a Health Officers by not protecting the most vulnerable, children and the unborn. They have failed to do their jobs and should resign because:

- They have willfully failed to protect thousands of children in our schools by turning a blind eye
to the 1,000’s of non-industry funded studies warning us of the harmful effects.

- They have deliberately misled the public by relying on outdated industry-biased information.

- They present information in a manner, which leads parents, teachers, and school boards into
believing that exposing children to RF radiation from Wi-Fi is safe.
This begs the question WHY? Are these doctors abandoning their duty to do no harm to support another agenda? Are they sacrificing our children’s health on the altar of greed for the sake of their salaries?
